Mine was thin, like 10g sheet metal. It's just there to keep the aluminum trans from eroding against the cast iron block IIRC, shouldn't make too much of a difference if it's a couple .01" each way.
I'm gonna find out if it works or not this weekend haha. I've searched a little bit, no luck finding a manual shim.
haha. I thought about it, but figured I've hassled you enough. If you've got a set of calipers and can measure the difference between the manual and auto one that'd be awesome. Or I can just take your word for it that it'll work.![]()
