No pics of my rig, but here's a few pics of the awesomeness we saw this past weekend.

Mike said the same thing. I think y'all are crazy. Randal Key's rig gets my vote

Key's rig is sick, no doubt about that. That being said, it's a 400hp buggy on OE rocks and 43's.

That's definitely an awesome setup, but this green buggy was nasty. I've never seen anything rip so hard on 47's in my life. When it comes down to pure performance, I think Key's rig would struggle to follow this guy.

I'm don't want to talk down any of those rigs; they're all works of art. Just sayin the green buggy took it to another level.

What axles is the green buggy running?

I know the blue buggies are running 45 spline shafts in a 60 housing...

609's $11,000 each.

Yep. The whole thing was packaged beautifully. It sat so low that he had to run the 9" centers in the low pinion orientation. The lower links were just below the driveshaft. It was perfect.

The interior was nice and clean as well. Two gauges - water temp and oil pressure.

I guess when you're running Wide Open you don't need anything else. Lol

Thanks man. I didn't even edit it, I just tossed all of my clips into one video and added fade transitions. haha.

My camera is capable of shooting in 1080, but I usually keep it on 720 to preserve battery and memory card life. Check the quality settings on the youtube vid. 720 is pretty clear. My cam's audio is terrible though.

The highest quality setting on your video is 480. Is that what your cam shoots at or did you lose quality when you edited/uploaded it?

How do you like the stock steering setup on the 37s? Are you fighting it a lot with the locker? Any plans for hydro assist? How do you plan to go about it?

So many questions! haha.

The steering isn't bad. I'm running inverted T style with high steer so the lingage is pretty flat. Maximizes steering strenth (force goes into turning the knuckle rather than bending the tie rod). I've never been unlocked in the front with the D44, so I can't say how much worse it is. It doesn't lock up on me too much, and if it does, it usually turns if I lightly spin my tires. You just have to know how to drive it. I find that tire pressure affects it more than anything. I run 10psi up front and 8 in the back. Any lower up front and the steering difficulty ramps up pretty good.

I have a hydro assist kit sitting in my room. I just need to figure out what I want to do about the box (drill/tap mine, buy new, etc).

I'll package it wherever I can. If i can keep it off of the cover I will, but I don't see that being a viable option. I still have my stock steering arms on the knuckles, so I've thought about using that as a mounting point rather than welding tabs to my tie rod. If I can do that I may be able to keep the axle mount off of the cover. I dunno.

In short, I'm not sure how I'm going to package it, but I'll get it on there one of these days. I hate to set deadlines, but it would be nice to have it on and all the kinks worked out before winter hits.

I'm with you on mounting location for the ram for hydro assist.

I got another box from the junk yard and drill/tap that and then just swap them out when that time comes.
