I was rhomping on my truck a lot lately. I knew my balljoints weren't the best, and I thought today I finally did them in. I had about 15* camber coming out the top. After pushing on the tire and inspecting the ball joints, I'm begining to think my wheelbearings are toast or just loose.

I always went by the "really tight" method, but I'm thinkin it worked it's way loose.

Anyone got torque specs on the wheelbearings for a HP D44 out of a 79 1/2 ton?

Thanks,
Adam

Pretty much the same as the D35 (TTB).

Torque the inner nut to 35 ft-lbs while spinning the rotor back & forth,
Back it off ½ turn, retighten it to 15 INCH-lbs,
install locking washer and outer locknut,
Tighten outer nut to at least 150 ft-lbs (I still like to put 200 or so on it)
