I've had a perfectly good D35 sitting in my way for awhile. I've tried to sell it for what I thought was a good price but it's still sittin in my way. Since it doesn't want to leave then I might as well cut it up. I thought about doing a cut and turn on it and then maybe someone will be more interested in it. I've searched and read through the Tech Library but I wanted to hear from anyone whose actually done it.

Is it as simple as building the jig and cutting the end off and moving it up 4"? If that's all there is to it, I've got it dicked and will soon have a D35 for sale if anyone is interested. I'll also have 2 jigs made and will be able to repeat for anyone else.

By moving the end up 4" will you be able to use the factory drop brackets for a 4" lift?

With cut and turned beams you don't need drop brackets, you just need the coils.

I'd go 3" with it, not 4. 4" puts a lot more strain on the center joint & slip spline.
