Custom CNC rear lift shackles

I was wondering if any of you guys had any measurements on the sizes of the shackles on an 08 FX4. I'm heading to the desert soon and want to fabricate a pair of longer ones out of solid stainless steel along with other parts. I'll have use of a full machine and welding shop since thats my job in the AF.

haha reminds me of a dude i know that made a head gasket for a mule while he was there from a solid sheet of copper. good luck with it

Why do you want to use stainless?

Mainly i want to use stainless so it'll last forever, and I have practically an unlimited supply of it. Really almost any alloy i can get ahold of. Also was wondering about other things to CNC machine while im gone if anyone has ideas or specs, right now im running out of time to be pulling parts off and taking measurements.
