Crazy tachometer in 92 ranger 3.0

I have been having trouble with the tach an now truck won't start but try's to an I put new coil fuel pump an filter new tfi I was wondering if anybody new if the tach could be shorted or something that would cause it not to run any help would be appreciated

Even thou nobody helped me out just thought I would leave people know it was the computer it was bad
