Hello,
I went and did a bit of offroading yesterday and noticed on my last trail my Gauge lights and radio lights shut off but everything still functions. And this morning I went to start the truck and it cranked well but did not start.
I have been trying things today and it started once for a second and then died.
I just replaced the ignition switch and checked all my fuses but nothing seemed wrong.

Any more ideas?

Do a spark test or spray some brake cleaner or ether down the throat of the engine and see if that makes a difference. See if you are losing spark, or have no fuel to the engine.

Does the CEL(check engine light) on the dash come on?

If not then computer(PCM) is not powering up so no spark or fuel, and no start, but doesn't effect starter motor
Pull out PCM relay in engine fuse box, and put it back in to make sure its tight
Also check PCM fuse 21 in engine fuse box, pull it out and put it back in

The ignition switch under steering column is fed 12volts on just one wire, and its OK if you can crank the engine

The 12volts exits the ignition switch on 3 wires(not counting START wire)
These 3 wires feed 12v power to the Cab fuse box's various fuses and also activate PCM relay in engine fuse box

Instrument cluster gauges and info lights are powered by fuse 11 in cab fuse box
Also cab fuse 26 but it has full time power

Change you fuel pump fuse. its a big one in the fender to fuse box under the hood. It might look good, but change it anyways.

Sort of same thing happened to me. It was the fuel pump fuse.

yes, the check engine light works as well as the turn signals. I don't hear the fuel pump prime when I set the key to the run position. but then again, I've never heard it, so I'm not sure how loud it should be.
going to buy a new fuel pump fuse and relay tomorrow.
also I've removed the MAF and blown it out but that didn't change anything.

Buy a few of em...I think it's the green 30 Amp. It might blow again. Ive been through a few of em.
Ever since it did that the first time, it will randomly blow a fuse if I jar the truck just right. Haven't had time to poke around yet...probably a short somewhere.

Does the CEL go OFF when starter motor starts to spin the crank?
If not then the PCM is not getting Crank sensor timing signal
