97 ranger 2.3 losing coolant while just setting parked. No water in oil, no oil in water, no bubbling in radiator while running, no steam or moisture in exhaust pipe, no overheating. No water around water pump or t stat housing, no drips or signs of leak anywhere and no leaks at heater core. Can fill radiator and literally watch level drop. Will be almost empty overnight, just setting parked. I am stumped! Any idea anyone?

Antifreeze elves...

They're like underpants gnomes, but different... There's a lot of joking around around here, if you see something that doesn't make sense, don't take it serious :)

On a serious note, that much coolant has to be going somewhere, park in a dry spot, there has to be coolant going somewhere... Cracked side tanks on radiators is common, my explorer did it, brother in laws sport track did it... another spot that is common but higher on the engine is the heater flow control valve. If you figure out how low it's getting, it's probably something about that height or maybe a little lower...
