This isn't on a ranger, but the principle should remain the same.
I just did a clutch job on my new economy car (2002 Suzuki Esteem). resurfaced flywheel, new clutch kit, new slave and master cylinders (both were weeping).
It's cold here in Fairbanks, and when I first fire it up I can shift into all 5 gears and reverse with no difficulty. After running it for a couple miles (or letting it idle for 5-10 minutes), I lose the ability to shift into gear from a stop. It just buzzes. When I start in gear once it's warm, the clutch drags pretty hard and pulls the car.
I have bled the clutch system at least 5 times, but it seems like a bubble expanding in the line as it warms up could be the culprit.
Any ideas would be appreciated, I'm at wits end with this and it's finals week!
