I got this truck from someone who I guess did painting.. but very badly. There is overspray all in the truck on the door panels, all over the dash and stuff. It's not bad, but very small dots of multi color paint everywhere. I tried using a little bit of Acetone (Wife's nail polish remover stuff) on a rag but it didn't really work. I know I can replace the panels easy enough but what about the dash? Anyone have any tips for maybe cleaning it up some?

Kind of random, but thanks in advance.

Laquer thinner in very small amounts will take it off. do it on a cool surface use as little as possible. once its cleaned. use lexal leather treatment asap to protect the vinyl from cracking.

Laquer thinner is good but can be too harsh. I would try overspray wipes. Goo Gone has this kind of product.

Awesome, thanks much yall. I will look for the wipes and if that doesn't work I'll go for the other step.

Give naptha a try (zippo lighter fluid) try a small spot on the vinyl where it is hard to see first!
