I broke one of my belltech 6400 shackles (was kinda pissed off ) so i made my own. I put them in and since they were so long they pushed my axle forward so the tire was rubbing on the wheel well. So i swapped in some chevy leafs and a leaf pack i put together. I make them out of 1/2 and 1/4 square tubing.
worked out ok. let me know what you think.

that looks pretty good but i got a question for you since ill be replacing my leafs soon. what do you have to do to bolt the axle to the leafs? how do you know where to bolt them at?

I doubt you will break those shackles. Those look nice. you should make some and sell them.

Looks good!

You've got your top spring plate on the wrong way btw....

Yeah those spring plates are definitely on wrong, that's why they're bowing so much.

they have been on wrong since i got the truck then thats how they have always been. ill flip them.
