cheap way to lift front of an 84 ranger 4x4?

hi guys i have a 1984 ranger 4x4 with a 2.8 v6 and 4 speed manual tranny and was wondering if there was a real chap way to give it a 3 inch lift? i wanna atleast lift the fron an inch or 2 cause it has 30-9.50-15's and the front scrubs real bad and the rear already has lift blocks and i would like to get a set of 31-10.5-15's under it so if yall know of a real cheap or redneck way of doing it plz let me know. thx

You can get a set of steel factory coil spacers from a 2wd F-150, or get some large washers and weld them together and put them under your coils. You'll get about 1.5" from the F-150 spacers.

You'll only be able to lift it about 2" before you'll need drop brackets to be able to align the front end.

okie dokie and how much for the spindles? even without the spindles think i could fit 31-11-50's under it? i can cut the fenders if needed cause its just a 200 dollar toy thx

i have an 86 4x4 ranger with 31-10.50's on and it doesnt rub to bad...I used to have coil spacers in the front(1-1/2 lift) but it threw my camber off so i took em out

For cheap, go to the hardware store and pick up some washers. I used 8 per side (stacked height of 1 1/4") on my '87 B2 for a cheap lift.

Washers measure out at 3" diam. with a 1 1/4" hole, they worked great. I think total was about $7.
