Cheap and cool looking mods

I have the manual locking hubs from warn. On one side, the handle that you use to engage 4wd broke off so I have to use pliers. But soon I'll go to the savage yard and see if they have handles for a locking hub.

well there's part of your $75 lol.

how about building a headache bar?
build some sliders.
do some accent painting.

Thanks guys. More ideas would be good. I have got ideas here that I never thought of. thanks!

I hope you sealed your cab lights with some caulking or sealant. Where did you get them btw. I got a large steel hook, painted it, and put it on my bumper. I got it from a local flea market for 10 bucks with some other chain.

For paint and stuff, plastidip.

I didn't seal it with any sealant because later on, Im going to get a new paint job and I will have to take the lights off. So that will have to happen after the paint job. I got the lights at my local car parts store. All around they costed about 60 bucks including the splice connectors, lights, and the wire.

I built my snorkel for my Explorer for 60.00

Hardest part was cutting a 3 1/2" hole in a perfectly good fender.

I like the idea that Headlandram has

How ever Im thinking of doing sometheing different. I can get Dragon eye LEDs for 3.95 ea in red/amber/green. Clear sealed unit with 2 LEDs like pic. Two choices to mount them

1) I would either mount them on the Door mounting section of the mirror bracket facing rearward. The area just under the pivot point/the area shown between the Radio antenna & the door mounting surface of the bracket or

2) Centered under the RANGER emblem. I will be getting the newer style emblems. My truck is Used as a company work horse so I plan to have
SUPER DUTY engraved under RANGER similar to last pic ,but in largest Black letters covering length of emblem

With them on the fenders they can be seen even as another vehicle pases the mirrors & being clear with colored LEDs They are very bright

Cheapest way to go would be to go to a swap meet and see what junk you can buy then barter with and get better things.

alot of items at swap meets are low quality crap that the seller things is made of gold & wants high quality price for them
