im not sure where its leaking at. the exhaust looks so old. somebody before me had tried fixing it theres the bandages all over in different places. i dont know how expensive it would be to have a shop just build me some new pipe from my manifold to my muffler. that'd be cool. but i'll try holding my hand over the tailpipe.

Yea a good muffler shop can make one in no time depending on if the exhaust manifold is the same on your engine to the stock 2.3l but they can give you a free estimate and they usually can fix small leaks as long as there is still metal to work with

alright well maybe i'll stop by a shop. or get one of my friends or my brother to weld it up if like you said theres still metal to work with. but thanks for all your help i really appreciate it.
