I had a reman 4.0 long block put in and I am very close to getting it started. I have the wire that goes down to what I believe is the crank sensor which should have been routed before putting the front of the engine on
:15:

my question is can these wires be cut and spliced or am I gonna have to start removing stuff to route it?
Thanks!

Have you considered removing the pins from the connector to get it thru?

That wire is shielded in the split loom. I’d see if un-pinning it would let me fish it, otherwise I’d be removing things, you want to keep that shielding intact

I was able to get that routed to the sensor without damaging the cover. Now I have one wire left that I cant find a plug to. this has 2 wires on it, one white and one pink and purple. absolutely NO IDEA where it goes. I did try to look at some schematics but nothing with these colors.
