Im 33 years old with mild autism aspergers and add and i dont like tinted windows i dont like the feeling they give and im also wondering was there a single 2002 ford ranger fx4 off road from factory with no tinted windows ??

Nope on removing factory tint, it is made into the glass. Your best chance would be to replace the glass with non-tinted version, that might be difficult to accomplish without a lot of expense. You're looking at either buying all new, or finding replacement from a donor vehicle.

I doubt that any 2002 FX4s came without factory tint, most likely that was part of the option package.

The good news is that all windows other than windshield are bolt in, not glue in, so fairly easy to replace at home. More good news is that the rear windows on all extended cabs, and at least 98+ regular cabs, are interchangable. Same for the front door glass, 93+ Rangers. Pretty certain that the rear doorglass can only come from another Ranger with the rear doors, so only 98+.

If I were to guess, I would say that almost anything other than the most base model Ranger probably came with tinted windows from the factory. Problem is that I'm not sure you'll find a base model with rear doors.

That's pretty much all the help I can provide with windows.

I think the rear door glass is interchangeable with the non opening extended cab because I was looking at getting some of the opening glass to put in the rear doors of my green Ranger that didn’t have opening glass. I liked the airflow they provided.

Personally, I liked the tinted windows, my red 92 Ranger had all clear glass and it felt like a fishbowl. I had plans to swap to tinted glass and a rear slider when someone hit me and smashed up the truck.

The extended cab windows are the same from '86 through '11 so there should be options out there but I'm with what the rest said.

I'm not huge on tinted windows either but the rear quarter windows don't bother me, not sure if I'd like a tinted rear window...

How much would it cost to get my tinted factory windows untinted on my ranger at a professional shop ?

the tint can't be removed on the factory glass, you would have to replace all the glass with non tinted
I will sell my ranger then someday and how much do you think i can get for my ranger ??

its hard to say, how many miles are on it? whats the overall condition and is the motor quiet? That era 4.0 was plagued with the timing chain rattle

I have 86,065 original miles :) the overall condition is good :) and the motor is quiet. Why was that era of 4.0 plagued with the timing chain problem

it was an inherent bad design by ford, there were 3 timing chains, one of which is in the rear of the engine. The cassettes as they were known would break and lose tension, then the chains would slap around, only repair was to pull the engine to replace them, or if they got bad enough and jumped time then the whole engine was trashed. I don't remember if my 03 had it when I got rid of it 13 years ago with 80k miles.

All depends on what the market is like in your area. IMO that is a little steep. check kelly blue book or NADA for what private party values are at and that should get you a good baseline
