can i convert my 2.3 turbo carb block over to FI??

ive tried RPS, registered turboford.org and they havent accepted me yet, nothing on craigslist around here and nothing on ebay. ill give that website a try tho

so what does everbody think i can get out of a 1979 2.3 turbo motor out of a pace car with 63,000mi

Isn't that '79 carbuated?
You need to look for a '87 or newer for the best system.

yeah, this is a carbed motor, and yes i want to sell it to get a EFI motor, unfortunely i put a bid on this motor on ebay and realized this wasnt the motor i wanted. i ended up being the only bidder and won. now im stuck with it. so what can i get out of this motor.

Did you put the motor in and try it? Or are you just going on other peoples word that you won't like it?

im really wanting to fuel inject this motor, but i talked to the guy i got this carbed 2.3 turbo motor off of today and he convincted me to jus run the carb set-up, he's really wanting to see how it turns out and he wants me to keep him updated, he even said if i put it in my ranger as a carbed motor, he'll by the truck off me. he owns a mustang shop here locally and specializes in 79-93' mustangs and has done a few 2.3 turbo builds. i do plan on selling this truck after i get done with it. so this time ill keep this a carb build up, next time ill go for the "fuely" build.
