I have to push the clutch all the in for it to work. can i adjust it so it engages sooner?

i just had the slave cylinder replaced and i have to press it in farther now all the way into the floor and then some and its real soft untill you press it in about half to 3/4.... it didn't do this 2 days ago before the slave went out it got a new tranny, clutch, and rear end a couple months ago ..there just has to be a way to adjust the pedal normally theres a nut you adjust on the firewall behind the petal

i'd say bleed the clutch really well since it is hydraulic especially if the slave was just changed.
