Junkie,
Sorry, no measurements were taken. When I pulled up at the shop, this is what I saw. I jumped out and ran up with my phone and started snapping a few pics. I do know the rear tire was approx. 40" off the ground (5 rows of 8" blocks on the building). It could have went more but the front shocks were fully extended and started to lift the front tire. They used the 12" travel shocks all around. Tried to put the 15" shocks on the front but for a mass produced kit, the 12s fit without having to cut the fenderwell up. I may end up putting the 15s on at a later date after testing is done. I think for a big ass Explorer it flexes quite nice.
I drove it to Windrock today (approx 25 miles from the JD shop) and it rides and drives very well. The stiffer 5.5" springs control body roll way better than the softer 3.5" springs I was running. The fullsize axles also handled pretty good given the wider footprint. Felt much more stable on the trails, not at all top heavy like with the narrow TTB axles. Only problem was evidently someone (insert whistling) installed the hubs wrong and my frontend wasn't pulling when I put it in 4wd. Mental note......check 4wd BEFORE you need 4wd.
After I fix the hubs tomorrow I'll prolly go riding again. Pics will follow.
