Bye, bye TTB--bolt-on SAS

How tall are you?

5'8"---yeah I'm a midget.

any idea when this "kit" will become "available"???

It's not done yet plus we are changing the track bar mount. Add in tweak time plus testing. Then tear it all back down and inspect then build production jigs for the new pieces.
Prolly 6 months.....maybe longer.

Super Bronco Celebration is this weekend in Townsend, TN so the Duff shop has been getting ready for that for the last couple of days. They will all be attending that and I'm going to the shop tomorrow to tie up loose ends like brake lines, driveshafts, re-checking all bolts, etc.
The Southern Four Wheel Drive Association's Trail-Fest is being held at Windrock this year. It is April 29-May 2. I'll have my Ex there at the Duff vendor location to show off the new suspension and will be hitting the trails with several of the groups. Feel free to show up and say Hi.

sick man. so do you have to pay for all this? or do u get it because ur the "tester"?

can i get your ttb steering set up off you? pm me

Instead of PMing everyone that has PMed me I thought I'd put it in the post for everyone to see. I can not sell any of this stuff. It isn't mine to sell. What parts I am not reusing is going back to Duff and they will sell it as seconds. If you are interested in any of it call and talk to Thomas and he will give you a price on it. The steering is also going back to Stonecrusher so you'd have to call and talk to Anthony about that. If it were mine, I'd done sold all of it to help fund my new stuff but since I was testing it I got it on the premise that I had to give it back after testing was done.

The only thing I own is the lower coil retainers. I made those and they ARE for sale.
I'll take $60 for them. First one to send me a money order gets them. Of course if several people want them I'll see if I can whoop some more up and try to please everyone.

Got new BEEFY track bar mount made today. Moved the end of the t-bar over under the frame rail and also more horizontal for better angles and less axle walk. Took a couple flex pics but they dont do it justice. Haven't started cutting sheetmetal yet so the pass. rear tire sit on the body and then started pivoting off it. Rear flex coulda went a little more but the front hadn't even started to sweat.

Duff is pretty much done with it now. I just gotta tie up the loose ends like rear driveshaft and brakelines.

how about some cosmetics next? i'm thinking chop the rear top, behind the rear door, and put in a roll cage, internal or external

Wanna keep the body intact as much as possible. This is my family wheeler hence the name "The Schoolbus". I got a wife and two small boys that I want to take wheeling as much as possible. External cage is in the works but won't be cutting into the body. I rode too much with no top or doors, now it's all about comfort. Heat, A/C, no dust in my eyes or junebugs in my teeth.

That's is of course until I break the windows out or something, then it's on!!

Just had to post up a pic of the new shoes. I ended up with a set of 37s that fit much better and won't take anywhere near the amount of cutting the 39s would have. They stick out way more as these wheels only have about 3.5" backspacing.

Yes they are camo wheels, don't fit the Ex but I got a good deal so......

lol, those wheels are sick, i figured they were just dirty when i saw them at first...but thats still awesome, time for a matching paintjob????

My wife told me I need to get one of those camo vehicle wraps to match the wheels. Bad thing is she don't know how much they cost. Guy at work done it to his Geo Tracker and it cost $1600 so it'd be about double that for the Ex.

Downey, sorry man the old wheels and tires are gone. I done a trade plus boot for them.
