I just got a 89 BII, and it has the A4LD trans, when I change gears it does nothing, I'm thinking the trans is shot, but someone in another post said the transfercase might be in neutral, I have tryed pushing the buttions on the dash, and the lights light up and I hear the clicking behind me in the side panel, I'm going to take the electric shift motor off today, when I do, which direction do I turn the shaft to make shure it's in 2wd, or 4wd high ???
