I have an 1989 bronco 2 and I'm wanting to change it over to the early bronco 44 and 9in. Is the 44 an easy swap?

depends what you consider easy. Its certainly doable, theres dozens just around here.

You probably need a bigger engine too, as a 2.9 isn't exactly a powerhouse.(and are prone to failure when beat on)

Otherwise here is a good place to start... Go look through some build threads, as you clearly have a lot of things to figure out before you get started. (How big you lift it, where you mount stuff, how its mounted, coils or leafs, ect ect ect.)

I have a 6" bds lift on it and I'm going with a fuelinjected 302 I know I will have to do some fab but here the early 44 is hard to find so didn't know if the spring sets are close to same cause if they are I would dreather use it then a front from a jeep or explorer. What do you think?
