Thanks. Yes it fired right up and i have to admit it surprised me. lol

I had a chance to get an Ecam but passed it up.

Drove mine around in the field and back roads for a year with no mufflers.
Every time my neighbor cranked up his jet boat i would hit him back with the truck....lol!

Yes they will hate you.
No you will not care.

I have been driving it up and down my road some, but not a lot.
I am taking it in tomorrow to get an exhaust system put on it.
Not really sure what mufflers I want yet. I'll talk to the guy to see
what he recommends. Think I'm gonna have turn downs before the rear
end. That might make it a little quieter. Any ideas or suggestions?

I went with dual 2.25" run down the inside of the frame, where the stock exhaust was. Mufflers were twin Dynomax 2.5" turbos, mounted vertically together side by side. But I ran the exhaust all the way out the rear under the bumper. I also later added an equalizer chamber of my own design plumbed in ahead of the mufflers. The chamber was a 12" section of 4" tubing, with the dual 2.25" pipe welded into both ends. What it did was mellow out the Turbo's sound. Previous to this I had run the exhaust outside the frame with glasspacks and the pipe exiting forward of the rear wheels. I outgrew the sound of glasspacks.

I have glass packs on mine now, stubbed right before the rear end and I hate them all ready.
Thrush makes a good copy of flow master 40's that sound good.
I would run the pipe out to the side or back and not turned down under the truck though.
JMO.

Great video by the way!Love it!

I dropped it off and told him the sound i was looking for, let him figure out the rest. lol

I started out on the highway but decided to go through town because it was too freakin loud.

I had my 13yr old son with me and he was asking why 2/3s of the cars in the parking lot were drag cars. I said that this guy builds them for people. He asked if he could do our ranger for us.

I should have a sound clip on here one day this week.

Congrats on getting it running and don't worry about the neighbors too much. I first got mine started at about 10 at night and was out there messing with it untill about 11:30 at night last summer. Then me and my dad saw one of my neighbors at walmart and the first thing he said was "So i heard you got the truck running a couple days ago." Lol he lives like 3 houses down

That's funny

Been driving it to work without any issues.:D

I have roughly 150 miles on it so far and i have to admit, with the 4.10 gears that thing is pretty quick. I need to check the MPG to see about what i'm getting. Not that it matters, i didnt build it for economy.:icon_twisted:

I will get a tire frying video as soon as i get my old tires mounted.

Thanks for all the help with my questions. I appreciate it.
