Working on fixing my old bronco 2 (87) for my girl.
i robbed the front fenders, hood, core support from it last year top fix a little fender bender on my ranger.

so now of course i need to fix this beautiful b2 i got in the barn.

the hood, outter fenders, core support, stone deflecter are easily found and quite cheap in my lmc.

but i cannot find the "core supports"? not sure what the term is for them i have seen cowl support, etc.

but the supports from the core support to the cab that the outter fenders bolt to.
is there anywhere that these can be found new or am i gonna have to go to a junkyard and drill the F*&# out of a bunch of spotwelds again?

thanks for looking

thanks for the lead but not avaliable there either. anyone else had this problem before? guess they never expected a 1st gen ranger/b2 ti be restored

surely im not the only one to cream a deer with my baby and need to find one of these :shok:

anyone at least know the technical term for this silly thing so i can search for it better? :icon_confused:

I've always thought the core support was from the cowl forward but after reading lots of threads I see that it refers to the front portion around the rad only. Try searching for the portion in between under; [WAG = wild ass guess]
inner fender
fender support
That's all I have right now.
Good luck,

Richard

Ford's shop manual lists it as - Front Fender Inner Body. Neither Jeff's Bronco Graveyard or LMC list it though so a junkyard or craigslist might be your only options unless somebody here's got another idea.

I don't think you are gonna be finding the inner fenders outside a junk yard.

LMC does have the (radiator) core support.

thanks for the help guys

checked all sites i could think of... ford.. and several body shops

seems these things are a no show. time to buy some good spotweld cutters and head to pull-a-part :annoyed:

i bought one for my truck from rock auto 2 years ago. old one rotted away
