Hi I'm working on a 1995 ford ranger 4.0. It has a strange issue in that the blower works sometimes, if you put the selector in the OFF position before you turn the car off, when you come back and turn the car on you can select a/c and it will work(usually, however lately it hasn't been working). But if you don't put the selector to the off position before you turn the car off then the blower won't work. I know this sounds ridiculous but I thought it was ridiculous at first too. Anyways I haven't had a chance to look at the relay, resistor, and blower motor yet but I was wondering if there was anything else I should look into. Any thoughts? It's 106 degrees out so it gets a little warm in the truck

when it does not work lift the hood and wiggle the wire where it connects to the blower motor see if it comes on
