Blackwidows 350 sbc street truck build





how it sounded. mind you i didnt have spark plugs or manifolds in at the time. wanted to build some oil pressure. yes i coated the cylinder walls with marvel before i cranked it
 
starter issue fixed. new transmission crossmember fabricated. and some engine detailing done. Here's more pics!!







Here is the adapter plate i installed to allow me to use the old style bellhousing mounted starter


The new starter


Detailed the valve covers.


Clear coated the intake


And got the engine sitting where i want it.
 
Just went through the whole thread. Looking good man! Can't wait to see this done and burning rubber. :3gears:

The transmission crossmember isnt bolted in yet. hence why its crooked.

Got the steering shaft all pieced together and welded. And installed. No binding at all. It’s tight but has just enough clearance to allow for motor movement.

Pretty damn close to coming out of the shop and hitting the streets
 
Just finished up the build thread.. I am glad to see the Cragar SS wheels are still in the mix... In my opinion those wheels made the truck stand apart from others. Amazing job as usual. :drool:
