Big rim job

Problem with 16” MT is they have the “LT” type of tire so when find the right one, check the load rating for the fun of it.
It will probably in the 3300 lbs per tire range and called Load ranger “E”.
This is way too much for a small Ranger, so no matter what rim/tire/side wall you go with get a lower Load Range like “C”.

I got the Load Range “E”/16” KM2s (285-75x16), tired to adjust the tire pressure to help the ride and got really bad wear on the tires.
Can’t wait for these to wear out and get new ones, 15”/LR “C”.

I'll probly go with 32 or 33" in the narrowest I can find, even if it is 12.5". Looking at the Federal MT's and Treadwright Guard Dogs. Probly Federals MT depending on price. Yup, I've got E rated tires on my 2500 Dodge and they ride rough. I do have a brand new tire groover since I've been looking at Super Swamper TSL's but $ is an issue and they are a bit more than the other two I listed.

If you have room for a 34, Interco makes the LTB in a 34x10.50-15lt and 34x10.50-17lt, but both are bias ply.

LTB's were the first ones I was looking at (they even have a 9.5" wide bias TSL) but yeah bias ply are stiff from what I've heard on here. Someone said that they ran those without any air and they were still too stiff on the little lightweight ranger so...radials it will be. Wish Super Swamper would make them in a radial.

Just looked at the Treadwrights and they discontinued the 33X12.5X15" stating that they could not find enough used tire casings in that size...really?
