Are they any good? I was planning on getting 33's very soon, and I was wondering if they are worth the money.

i assume you want the all terrains? From what I've read they're great in dirt and such but suck in the mud. So really, it depends on what you want them for

bfg is a great company only problem is that 33s with 15" and 16" rims are on back order for awhile... they lag nasty so be prepared to wait unless you know of a company that has them in stock

If your talking AT's, my personal experience was that i liked them, but didn't love them. My real complaint is that they load up pretty quick. If you like that pattern though, you can cut a few corners and run General Grabbers, they are pretty decent for a little less cash. However, that being said, i like the look and grip of a BFG Mud terrain, or Mud King, a bit better.

I love my Rubicon edition MT's. :yahoo:

If You can find KM1's THEY ARE AWESOME FOR MUD: ABSOLUTE TRACTION

KM1's Are better than KM2's

Dunno about in mud, but my KMs (1) really got chunked up bad from rocks (much worse than the pre-KM tires I've had). Not sure if the KM2s are any better or not.

My next set of tires will probably be Pitbull Rocker Radials, or possibly those funky Goodyear MT/R Kevlar things maybe... Not sure yet.

The A/T's do load up in mud but they are not a mud tire. Otherwise they are very good in anything else and wear like iron.
The M/T's are very good mud tires, good on the street for a mud tire, and last pretty long for a mud tire.

Here, they are all over the place. I went shopping with a buddy who was getting new tires last week and we went to 4 different places and I saw 31-37 inch BFG KO's all over the place. Prices are going up like crazy, Man!!!

33x12.5 KO's (15-16 inch diam) are going for $156-$189. I just bought a new spare 33x12.5 for a friend for his birthday last month and I paid $138.99 for it. If I went and bought it now it is $156....darn!!!!

I am on my second set of 33x12.5 KO's and I love them. Great for trail riding and great on the street. Very quite on the street. Not the best for mud but they are all terrain tires and in the sand, loose dirt and hard packed dirt and wet pavment....SUPER!!!!!

I have 31x10.5 ATs they are great on road in dry/wet/and snow. i love these tires for DD

why do you say this? are you just saying this cuz you like the old tread pattern better or is there another reason?

I went for the KM2's in 31's on mine. I have had no problems so far. They grip rocks and mud very well. I have yet to have a traction problem that was not my fault. Need to work on picking my lines better on the trails. I don't hit any really big mud holes though, because its my DD and I don't have that much clearance to go through too much mud.

i had a set of 31" all terrains on my 93 ranger for a winter, i borrowed them from a friend, which are on his S10 right now) and i got stuck everywhere..

they are alright i guess but i wont put a set on my truck. they are good for dry pavement and arent too bad on wet pavement either, better than a stock street tire on wet stuff.. they do become slicks pretty quick in the mud. im heading up north here in BC to work next week and i think when i come back im going to buy a set of tires that a friend had on his S10. then get them swapped out on the truck and drive the truck back up north.

personally eventually im gonna put a set of TSL radials on the ranger.
