Best mud terrain tires?

My brother ran Yoko's and never had any problems with them. Now he has Maxxis Big Horns and seem to be doing good too. Here they are on my truck. 33x12.50

WHat size wheels ware you running there? I'm looking to do 33"s on my Ranger, just not sure on the wheel size / backspacing yet.

BFG Mud Terrains grip well, but if you drive on road as well, I wouldn't buy them. I had them on my last truck that saw about a 50/50 mix on on and off road and after 15k they couldn't be driven over 40mph. They wore terribly uneven and were rebalanced at least twice a year. I rotated them at every oil change.

Love my truxxus MT's tones of grip even in snow and ice, and they are relatively quiet. however they are very soft, so I am waiting to see what kinhd of mileage I get out of them.

you talking about the km1 or km2? the km2 is unreal quiet and smooth,at least so far on a solid axle truck

It was both. Solid axle Cherokee that was maintained. The bad roads may have contributed to the wear pattern but I drive the same roads on the Toyo's and they are still great at 25k.
