I've been using this site to look up information on all kinds of crazy idea's ive had but never followed through on any of them yet. The best thing ive completed is my sound system. My newest idea is one i really want to follow through on because it will help no matter which direction i go with my truck. I want to put a 302 motor in it, and ive been reading threads on it but hearing alot of different things. I want to know if i buy a cheap old mustang with a 5.0 302 could i just swap the engine and the tranny and take the computer system from the mustang? I would buy a ranger 8.8 axle, but dont know how i would go about getting a custom drivetrain. I know jegs has a $400 ranger 302 swap kit but am not sure if it comes with all i need. Thats another question, what all would i need? I hope its ok to post this here
