I have had a slight squeal for a couple of weeks and I thought I would get it fixed early so I replaced the Tensioner, Idler and the Belt. The squeal got remarkably worse so I read the various forums and saw that the alternator is usually the culprit. So off the the store I go and get a new alternator, now the squeal is amazingly loud! HELP, what is next?

My power steering pump siezed up did not hear a thing. It happened on a very long straight road so I did not know for several miles until it over heated due to the belt coming off after the plastic pulley blew apart. Good luck or better luck than I had...

Are you sure it's coming from the belt drive? Start up the engine with the belt off. Not sure what forums you read but squeals on 95+ 3.0s are more commonly the CPS

If the squeal goes away without the serp belt on then it's probably a misaligned tensioner causing the squeal. See the above belt squeal thread on how to fix it.
