Dang! I think I'm going in Ripley's : Just pressed a new lower ball joint into the upper ball joint bore . So can I just press it out and press it back in the lower bore or is it now junk? Also did I just turn the knuckle into a paperweight?

97 ranger 4x4 4 liter dana 35 Thanks Yorgy

With a caliper (measuring device not brake part) both upper and lower bores on my '95 measure the same.

good

Hey 85 sounds good to me . I think I'll just go for it buy another bj , keep the knuckle. The one I pressed in was a moog with those funny ridges where it goes into the bore . Thanks for the reply yorgy

Yeah, they are splined so they don't move around yet are easier to remove. Probably won't hurt yours to pull it if you are careful.

yep

With 200k on this truck every repair job turns into a restoration project with lots of parts you didn't even plan on needing to be replaced . Thanks for the advice yorgy
