Ok well i found out that my truck has 4.10s in it and does not have a limited slip and its a 2004 xlt so has 28 spline axles
the yukon duragrip has the clutches in it and are rebuildable. I was told it uses the same parts and is just like the eaton limited slip?
Or the auburn high performance limited slip which is the cone type and not rebuildable. Everyone tells me by the time it does wear out i more than likely wont have the truck anymore?
So between the two which one should i go with? Or is there something else you recommend over the two i mentioned let me know, thanks

You could probably pick up another axle with the same gears and a factory limited slip for a lot less than you would spend on a new l/s and gear setup.

well to my understanding the stock lsd does not put very much power to the ground and is not very strong? also i was just going to put a new lsd in, not any gears just the lsd, thanks

My stock l/s works pretty good, no complaints here...the Torsen one from FX4 Rangers is supposed to be really good too I guess

I know you're just putting the l/s in but it replaces the carrier so you have to set up the gears again.

Lock Rite or Powertrax "lunchbox locker" is also a less expensive alternative.
