My 98 2.5 standard cab needs shoes so it can be ready for the market after I am done with suspension work. Budget is a consideration here. May be I am second guessing myself but I need to confirm-are these Hankooks acceptable for a truck? Unless someone can post a better deal, or I head to the junk yard (last week I got 4 F150 steelies with barely used 265/17s for $80 on Tire Tuesday special)
I have the OEM ranger chrome wheels pic below.

Has any bought tires from Gigatires.com and how was your experience, recommended or don't bother?

Yoi're selling it and it needs tires. Those aren't horrible. If you think that will jelp get the truck sold, go for it. Someone buying a truck likely doesn't want to immediately go to the tire store and shell out more money on new tires. So, psychologically, it might be a good move.

They are fine for a truck, and I expect it will be a big asset to getting it sold if you do put new tires on it.
