I just replaced my fuel pump, and my truck runs better then ever, but when it died, I wasnt certain if it was the pump or not, then the next day it just restarted, I did the pump anyway, but since then I noticed my oil pressure gauge, is actually under the stop arm on it, as if it spun 360 degrees, it now works and moves, but is like 180 degrees off with the engine running, I replaced the sender for it months ago when it started getting slow to react in the mornings. Any ideas anyone?

I guess what I meant above is could my oil pressure sender cause the original fuel pump to have shut off somehow?

That's GM vehicles. They have a circuit that kills the fuel pump in the event of a loss of oil pressure.

didnt know that.

itd be a nice feature if fords oil pressure sending units werent junk...
