Anyone ever expanded a garage???

I'd definitely want to do as much of it myself with help from my friends as I could.

If I'm not really tied up with work when you're ready to get started, I'd be willing to make a trip over and help out for a few days or something, I'd just want a place to crash (couch is fine) and a few bucks for equipment an such.
