I heard back from the Hi-Lift rep as well as the events guy at Redbird. No camping on site this weekend. They had planned to allow it initially, but there were some budget issues or something. I guess the guy with a retail/repair shop across the road mentioned he would let people stay at his property free of charge.
I don't know his contact info, so I'll be staying at either Shakamak or Greene-Sullivan on Friday night. I'm going to call them today and hopefully reserve a site if they allow that.
I'll leave all my camping stuff there during the day Sat, then if we don't decide to stay at my site Sat night, I'll run back, load up, and we can head wherever.
Weather is looking awesome for the weekend. I'm considering runnin my tubedoors for the whole trip again. If not, I'd need a place to leave my full doors. Could I leave them at Redbird while we wheel or would I be better off leaving them at my campsite?

I'm planning on leaving my house at 7am but Dugger Indiana is a hour ahead of Evansville. It's a 1 3/4 hour drive so should be there 9:45 Dugger time.
My buddy Kevin is out. Sunday he took his XJ out for a first trip and broke out some glass and a 60 hub. No big deal but he said he can't have it fixed in time
So looks like Railman, Jeremy, maybe Slo-vo, and myself will be driving up together. Mark and a buddy of his are staying in Terre Haute and will meet us there in the morning.
Got the Cobra fixed and added a bracket to the diff to hold the brake lines in the right spot. Will be putting the coilovers back on in a few.

Sounds good Greg. I haven't called yet, but the campsite I'm looking to stay at is dead south of Dugger, which wouldn't be far out of the way going to Interlake, if not right on the way.
I'll probably get there a bit earlier to check things out. Looks like the guided trail run starts at 10a. Don't wanna be late!

Limit straps wouldn't work on the coilover bolts. So I welded part of a coil spring to the radius arms and bolted the ends to the frame.
And the coils look like they will work.
Tomorrow I will try to get it drivable.

What's left to get it driving, bleed the brakes? Looks done to me!
I washed/waxed mine tonight. Greased every fitting on the thing. Picking up food supplies tomorrow, and I'll be ready to rock after work on Fri.

1. One grease fitting and grease all the joints.
2. Tighten the jam nuts on everything.
3. Don't want to forget diff fluid.
4. Wheels.
If the drive goes ok I need to work on the alignment and bleed the brakes again.
Then need to add something to the hoops to keep them where they're at. And raise the passenger limit strap about 3/4".
What's left?
