My truck runs like crap in the morning when its cold outside (50 degrees or so).... but when I drive it when its warm outside (around 70 degrees or more) the truck runs absolutly perfect. it has a brand new napa air temp sensor in it but I cant think of anything else that would make it do this...should i replace it again or is there something else i should be looking in to?

I also put an aftermarket water temp gauge in it and disconnected the factory one because it didnt work at all.... does the computer need to know the water temp?

Thanks for any help,
Derek

There are two connectors for the "Water temp" one the guage in the dash runs off of (side of block black slide over connector that slides over what looks like a small bolt) and then the sensor up by the thermostat that the computer uses to control the fuel mixture. If you unplugged the sensor that runs the guage your fine. However, if you unplugged the one that controls the ECU, plug it back in, that is your problem.
