Are there any companies out there that offer wiring harness that fit from the stock truck harness to efi 5.0L.

I think that you have to used the wiring harness and computer that you got the 5.0 from. Probably a mustang I hope.

What I'm asking it, I won't have a doner vehicle. So I won't have the harness or pcm. Is there a company out there that I can contact and ask for a say to 3.0L to 5.0L conversion harness and a 5.0L pcm. And a AOD computer and harness as well.

you need the year and model and rpo's from the rig you have to the year and model engine induction system you want to use.

but, the basic 5.0 swap harness is all you need....just leave your wiring alone in the truck, that system is stand alone.

i used to do conversions like you inquire about to make things look factory...

i came to the conclusion its a piss waste of time....the times it takes you will never pay another to do because it will be expensive.

what exact engine and trans combo are you using here?

I'm still in the gathering information stage. I'm reading on here that in some cases you have to repin the engine harness.

I under stand you will need year make and model to get the correct harness.

Idea I have rumbling around my head it a EFI 347 with an AOD backing it up with 3:73 pos rear axle.

Trying to get info on here to see where my budget needs to be at.

Sorry I didn't read the entire post until a few mins ago. Working off the wall hours and not sleeping well.

So your saying that I can use this wiring harness and just connect it to the pcm and not worry about the truck side of the harness.

for the most part yes...it will need some power and ground hookups, but nothing that is requiring major surgery
