Aftermarket/ programmable ECU for your EFI 2.9 ?

I was wondering if it was possible to use like an aftermarket ECU let’s say kinda like an Halltech or any other that’s programmable?

Haltech, Holley, etc can be adapted to anything. Just takes knowing how to wire and using the right sensors and settings.

If you should and if it is worth it are things that only you can decide.

Should be as long as the ECU you choose has the right (or enough) inputs and outputs.

Basically every sensor on the thing is important.

You could program out like EGR and knock sensor type stuff but coolant, MAP, IAT, etc would have to stay
