Ads now showing up??

FYI, they're back again. Assuming that it is related to updates that caused all the access issues I had yesterday (slow, unresponsive, etc). Not a pressing issue, just wanted to let you know they are there.

Should be fixed. Let me know.

As far as being slow, there are multiple reasons. Some easier to fix than others. One of the server drives has degraded and is only running at 50% and is being scheduled for replacement. AI bots and something else will randomly start going through every folder and file at the same time and we're trying to find ways to block them.

Imagine you're going down the highway on a long trip and as your driving a few bricks suddenly appear in the bed of your truck and after a few minutes, they disappear and this keeps repeating. No big deal. A few bricks aren't going to slow you down. You proceed at the same speed. Now imagine that suddenly out of nowhere 500 shows up and suddenly your truck is struggling to even move, or worse comes to a stop.

We're working on a solution. The software accidently blocked my IP address for a while, so I didn't have access either.

As great as some people think AI is, it screws things up.

Hell, yesterday I went to taco bell and the person at the drive thru speaker wasn't a real person. I've heard the recorded introductions before followed by a real person, but this was automated from beginning to end. A person gave me my food at the window, but somebody's job had been replaced by AI. Soon, the person giving me the food will be a robot.

If you run Brave, you will never see another ad.

Also allows youtube to be played with the screen, and disables youtube ads.

And the site owner will have to pay to host and run this place out of his own pocket and won't be able to afford to keep it online anymore.

Wasn't asking or complaining, just letting Jim know so he could investigate and fix at his leisure. Also to confirm it wasn't just on my end, like the phone getting infected with something.

I understand the issues that can plague running a website. Not an IT professional, but do have some background with it. I knew that I was having issues with this particular site yesterday, and that it was with both my phone and computer which were through different ISPs and networks.

Assumed that it was server related, but didn't care to speculate as to what. Attributed it to server maintenance or upgrades, maybe a cyber attack of some nature. If it wasn't straightened out in a day or two I was going to hit up the FB group to ask if it was just me.

When I tried to access this morning site was working fine, but the ads were back. Not a lot of them, but there. Again, just raising awareness.
