Ads now showing up??

I use Brave browser. So, I generally don't see ads anyway. My membership subscription is to show appreciation for the work and information the site provides and help keep it funded.

Yeah, I’m getting ads despite the supporting member status. Using the black with grey skin. At least the ads are captive in the line of posts rather than anchored top or bottom or worse yet, floating.

Also, I’m with @sgtsandman , I didn’t go to supporting member status just because of ads, I did it to support everything that this site is.

I didn't start supporting due to ads either. Certainly nice not having them though. The ones I'm get certainly aren't obstructive. At first scroll I thought the alldata one was a site sponsor since it was automotive related.

Rest relax and fix it when you can. Just wanted to bring it to your attention that they were there.

FYI I switched over to TRS default theme and the ads are gone. I do prefer the dark theme though.

Well that's weird. I added myself to the Supporting Member group and they went away.

Ugh.....

I bet I have to modify every template. I bet if you switch to the White with Black they go away.

I've been up all night. I didn't want to work on the forum during the day while it was busy. I'll fix this after I take a nap.

FYI, they're back again. Assuming that it is related to updates that caused all the access issues I had yesterday (slow, unresponsive, etc). Not a pressing issue, just wanted to let you know they are there.

This is appearing on mobile with default site theme. Can't comment on desktop site, I use ad blockers at home. My subscription banner is still showing as seen in one of these screen shots. Seeing it on every thread I've opened this morning, but here are two specific examples.

If you run Brave, you will never see another ad.

Also allows youtube to be played with the screen, and disables youtube ads.
