Adding 1st Gen PW PL

Depending on the year you get the donations from, take a picture of the door with all the bolts still in. Just in case you need a reference of placement or your door didn't have holes predrilled. I don't know if the doors were the exact same from 83 to 92.

Second gens have the speaker in the door I know so I doubt they would be exactly identical.

I did the opposite swap, I removed them from my stepside truck. Everything that goes inside the doors is very easy to swap out. The tricky part after that is the headlight harness also contains the PW/PL stuff. But IIRC you can basically strip all that out and have the wires for just the PW/PL by themselves that would be easy to add to your truck.

C180/C181 are the door harnesses that sneak out and run outside the inner fenders back to the doors. Door lock relays go above the DS headlight.

It might not be too bad to just swap that forward harness. Both the base truck and the ones where they call out power window/locks have that C120... it would be nice if the wiring is already ran between it and the fusebox. I am not sure how poorly it is shown and if any other wiring is bypassing that connector on the back side though...
