The 89 rangers apparently do not have a relay for the blower motor power, and possibly other years? I found the writup on diagnostics very helpful untill I went to look for the relay to check it.

According to my Chilton's manual, the '83-'90 don't have a relay. The power for the blower motor comes straight from a 30 amp fuse that is hot in run. It is the fuse directly above the flasher. I know some poeple don't like Chilton because it doesn't show where things are,but the wiring diagrams w/ the color coding can be very helpful.

Geez Jorley, I just realized I updated two articles back to back with info you added.

Thanks!

No problem. I've gotten alot of good info here and just trying to do my part in return.:icon_thumby:
