Aces Killshot Fusion EFI Swap

How’s the couch?

If you do it around midnight nobody knows. They are currently drying in the bathtub.

Good thing you got them out of the dishwasher before anyone woke up. Hide the toothbrush. It wasn't yours. Was it?

Alternator is back in, belt is back on, battery is back in. Power and ground is connected for the ECM.

O2 sensor is tight and yes both valve covers are back on.

If it helps, EFI works so well for me that I kind of want an old carbureted motorcycle to remember the pain.
Especially if it's British.

Had lots of carbed bikes, been riding since 1975. I've not had one lick of trouble with them. But, they were all Japanese. And yes, have three injected bikes now. Love each of them.

My Japanese bikes didn’t give me trouble when I rode them frequently. Just when I’d get side tracked and ignore them too long.

I did get the return fuel line built from between the TB and FPR tonight. I don't have enough fuel line to get from between the TB and fuel filter. It was a short night Really muggy, june bugs were THICK and then a thunderstorm chased me inside.

I submitted a thing for Aces "Tech Tuesday" thing on their youtube and they actually replied!

I didn't get the answer I wanted but I did get a clear answer about what it does/doesn't do. @4:36

So basically nothing changes for the Efans aside from the ECM doing the grounding rather than the temp switch.

Hey, at least they're honest!

Yup, they didn't really hold any punches.

The computer not needing the signal to maintain idle is good to know, I fought that with my carb because I didn't want to pay for the step up motor:

If it can handle the idle the fans are easy to deal with on their own.

The vibe I was getting is they used to have it but have been going away from it. The old regular Killshot had it and the Killshot II has it mentioned in places more so than the Fusion. Most of my extra wiring has to do with different options for ignitions and outputs for digital dashes. It probably makes more sense to get these to fit into more vehicles easier rather than catering to an option arguably most hot rods don't even have.

True, and the way the Holley system manages it doesnt seem *that* much better, it's just more programmable from what I can tell. I don't have AC so I haven't looked at it much
