Hi guys,

So I’m in the process of overhauling 1988 A4ldld 4x4. I’m replacing servos in overdrive, reverse and 2nd. I ordered the servos based off letters in caps and put them in. Here’s my problem 2nd with the bigger spring springs back to position when you push in. When I push in overdrive it gets stuck and Does not return to original position-on it’s own. I polished bore with scotch brite and a bit of fine sandpaper. Is this normal? Do I need a new spring or heavier spring? The spring that is in their is .079 thick I attached picture of spring chart could I go up to the next size? I don’t have experience with this. Also has anyone tried the sonnex reverse sleeve kit? I’m in process of installing that to! Picture is showing servo not returning back against c clip. Lastly their was no governor valve in governor just the spring and having trouble locating one. Is this needed?
