Has anyone installed A-piller handles on an '02 Ranger? Mine didn't come with the option, but the ranger i drive at work has them on both sides. I was headed to a local junkyard around the end of the week to see if i could find some. Just curious to see if anyone has run into any problems doing this.

well, update on the handle search. still waiting on my buddy at the junkyard to get caught up and let me get out there. I priced the parts through the dealer. About $175 for everything and that is with the discount i get from work. I have a ranger at work that has the handles, so i pulled it apart just to look at it. It looks fairly straight forward. Just rivit the brackets into the pre-drilled holes, put the new a-pillars in place, and screw down the handle. If you are going to the junkyard to get your parts, be sure to take a drill to drill out the pop rivits holding the brackets on. I'll post pics as i get the parts and give you step by step on what i do. If there is any interest in this, give me a post.
