99 Ranger XLT 4 liter temp sender malfunction

I may have to find another cluster. I just noticed that the needle is sitting at operating temp and the engine is cold. If I power up it resets to cold and then rises as it should when the engine warms up. If I put in another cluster I'm guessing I have to switch out the odometer.

Temp gauge will stay where is was with Key OFF, that is normal for the temp gauge on some vehicles

I have the glowshift a-pillar pod with electric oil pressure and voltmeter. I also have their oil filter sandwich adaptor for oil pressure sender.

The pod fits nice... the adaptor is a pretty nice piece too. I'm not super impressed with the gauges but they have worked ok. Just cheap plastic. The biggest issue is 50% of the time they won't hold the color preset and you have to cycle them back to your color choice.

Probably the biggest reason I went with glowshift gauges was they were the closest match the my factory white face gauges I found. I'm not totally disappointed in them but they didn't impress me enough to put them in my Bronco II.

Thanks everyone. I appreciate the info and photo of the A pillar GlowShift gauges.
