99 ranger face lift

Thanks and NOPE! I'm going to either replace my front yoke on the tcase or get another cv. I've been doing some reading and I think I can get one off of a 84 ranger that will work. I'm not a very good machanic so its all a learning thing for me.

On another note though, someone gave me a limited slip front carrier. I'm gonna run that until I get a locker. I already have limited slip in the rear.
I might just weld the rear but its all better then stock right?

Got my rock sliders on finaly. Nothin fancy.

Those sliders look sweet!!!!

Did you add any crossmembers for your sliders, or are you worried at all that they will twist your frame when you land on them?

the sliders will twists or break before the frame does. I plan on tying them into the cage when I get that built. I have a boat side design in my head that will tie into the belly pan I have planed out as well. all in time.

Gotcha. I ask not to criticize, but because I need to make some sliders pretty soon and was just worried about it. What thickness are you planning on for your belly pan?

You'll be fine. Your frame is solid.
I'm going to do a tube design and some aluminum plate. I don't know what thicknes yet. 3/16" on the boat sides. If I was just going to do something simple which I might do. I would just use 3/16".

How's the rig comin? Where are you from? I'm from Squaw Valley. It's just east of Fresno by 45 min.

I work very hard to have access to all these tools. I don't take it for granted thats for sure.

Gears, Master install kit, disc brake brackets, rotors, calipers and brake lines all purchased. I get to install the gears on Friday. Woo hoo. pics to come.

What did u get for gears?
