99 ranger face lift

Any progress? Mine has been setting since the beginning of last month. I'm gonna start tearing into it again this week.

Not much. I just got some new hiems in the mail today and I pick up my balljoints tomorrow. Hopefully I have some time on friday to install everything. I'm supposed to get some tires sometime this week as well. I'll take some picture if everything goes down as planed.

A bunch of buddys and I are headed up to shaver lake July 31st - Aug 4th for a big wheeling trip. where gonna camp out next to the red mountain trailhead. If you can make it you should. its a lot closer of a drive for you then me. Let me know.

Yeah I'll definitely try to make it! I should have it up and running strong by then!

Got me some chevy 63's yesterday. STOKED! :headbang:

Sweet! I haven't even gotten to try mine out yet. I still need to mount my rear shocks too.

i put some in a couple of weeks ago your going to like them

I think I will too! I think between the leafs and shocks I'm gonna double the amount I flex! I didn't realize it before but my shocks were stopping way short of what the explorer leafs would flex. I should get around to 16" each side now if my educated guesses are right.

Post what you get do we know what to expect!

Got my ball joints in last night... what a pain in the as. I thought my truck would handle 10 times better but its actually the opposite. Handles like shit. I think I tightened them down too much. Now I have too take the tires back of and loosen them to see if that helps. Its no big deal. Its just that I have no air tools at my house and I have 16 lugs to take off by hand. Somebody call the whambulance right? lol. Hey its Sunday ok?

I'll post some pictures when I get off my ass. I promise.

OK! so I finaly uploaded some photos of the little bit of progress I've gotten done in the last couple of months
almost lost an axle shaft last month

fixed that and then desided it was time to redo my steering linkage.

And I got my tires on as well

still need to ad some gussets in some places but it handles ten times better. Maybe next year I'll install high steer but for now I'm DONE with the steering.

The aluminum rims are temp. I like the black steel rims a lot better. I'm definitely liking the bigger tires though.

The truck looks great with the new wheel/tires!! Are those 35's?

Thanks guys! and yes those are 35's. Hoping to install the 63's and the traction bar in the rear soon. I really want to make my own track bar but I might just buy one instead. Any recommendations?
